USB Rechargable Batteries

USBCell Rechargable Batteries

Rechargable batteries have always been a more cost effective and eco-friendly alternative to non-rechargable ones. However when we do run out of batteries, say when we’re on a trip for example, it often isn’t so easy to find battery chargers lying around.

These USBCell USB rechargable batteries make our lives so much easier as you can just uncap them and plug them into your nearest computer or laptop to recharge them to full power. With a laptop around to boost some emergency charge into your batteries, you won’t ever miss the golden shot on your digital camera when your battery life is gone. Thanks to ThinkGeek again for stocking in such neat ideas.

December 29th, 2006

As an engineer, when it comes to practical designing, CAD tools are your best friend, allowing you to visualize and simulate your design before you actually put your design into production. However, with a lifelong job in engineering, there will eventually come a day when you finally get sick of loading AutoCAD or Spice Simulation tools every single day at work. Aren’t there any CAD tools out there that are actually fun to use and that you won’t get tired of?

Well, you’re in luck today! Introducing to you today is BlockCAD, a free downloadable CAD software to help you design your lego projects so that you can estimate how many pieces of each part you need to finish your miniature lego Great Wall of China or Statue of Liberty. Show them that Lego isn’t just for kids aged 6-12.

Pooing SantaPooing Snowman
This is what you get after a Christmas feast in North Pole - Santa dumping red and green excrements and Frosty dumping snowballs… Poor Santa must have had some major food poisoning to get red poo.
Dumping Santa and Frosty are actually candy dispensers in disguise, and as for the candy… you can figure that out. An appetizing delight!

Nintendo Wiimote Accessories

November 22nd, 2006

Zelda Wiimote Master Sword and Hyrulean ShieldWiimote Pilot ControllerWiimote Golf Club, Steering Wheel and Tennis Racket

With the Nintendo Wii officially in stores for only three days, a lot of accessories for the game console’s interactive controller - the Wiimote, have already surfaced on the internet. The fun factor of using the Wiimote controller as golf clubs, tennis rackets, swords or bowling balls when playing their launch titles such as Wii Sports or Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is already enough on its own to keep you happy for a while. However, playing these games with the feeling of actually having a tennis racket, a real golf club or the actual Zelda Master Sword and Hyrulean Shield in your palms, makes all the difference between playing the game, and being part of it!!!

So far, the Nintendo Wii is still looking much more promising than the PlayStation 3 whether in terms of pricing or fun. Now all we need is a rifle, a fishing rod and a light sabre wiimote accessory…

Top 5 Geekiest T-Shirts

November 4th, 2006

You know you’re too geeky when you check out t-shirts like these and actually ‘ROTFLOL’ at their nerdy jokes. But anyways, here are the 5 most hilarious geek t-shirt designs on my list. Available at thinkgeek.com.

5. Pi T-Shirt (to 4493 digits)
Pi T-Shirt
Now you can go memorize up to 4493 digits of Pi while you’re bored on the bus, train or anywhere else! You could even celebrate Pi-day on March 14th 3:14 pm in style by beating others (including Weird Al Yankovic) to knowing the most places of Pi without a sweat.

4. HTML tag gearset
 Hat
 T-Shirt

Siriam M.G. once said that “Looking at the proliferation of personal web pages on the net, it looks like very soon everyone on earth will have 15 Megabytes of fame.”. With this matching pair of <head> and <body> HTML tagged hat and shirt, you can very now wear your 15 Meg website of fame wherever you go.

3. LMAO T-Shirt

When you laugh your ass off too much… it becomes literal….

2. STFU University T-Shirt
STFU T-Shirt
When I first saw this shirt, it immediately reminded me of the college flick “Accepted” that came out this summer where the kids there all went to South Harmon Institute of Technology (a.k.a. S.H.I.T.). Picking up on the college humour, the people from STFU (South Texas Federal University maybe?) parodied a college shirt design packed with jokes. The University’s Latin motto - “Subsiste Sermonem Statim” translates to “Stop Talking Now”, fitting perfectly with their ideal of shutting people up! And while STFU may not be an Ivy League University, it most certainly stands out as an Ivy LEET college with their long history since 1337.

1. Geek Love Poem T-Shirt
Geek Love Poem T-Shirt
When it comes to nerd jokes, this geek poem here clearly brings in a lot a flavor in it. Parodying the original ‘roses are red’ poems with Hex coloring system, the people from ThinkGeek cleverly rounded it off with homage to Zero Wing, the weirdest Japanese translated Engrish(sic) game of all time. Watch the original “All your base are belong to us video” here with the nonsensical game conversations that started the greatest online hype of all time.
