According to a recent article on CNN, University of Toronto philosophy professor Doug Hutchinson was granted authorization to legally use medical marijuana to ease his chronic medical conditions. Professor Hutchison has now become one of the 1,492 Canadians allowed official marijuana consumption for medical purposes. The official enforcement of drug legislation in Ontario, however, still has some gray areas, making it one of the foremost reasons why illegal marijuana consumption is commonplace in Canada.
